Excellent. Beautiful well maintained Villa, but could do with a few alterations.
9.0A Fantastic Villa, for peace, tranquility, & relaxation.
A four bedroom Villa, for just the two of us. So much space, even if there were eight of you.
Obviously, the best feature, as everyone has already commented, is the pool, garden & veranda / terrace. With the sun beaming down on you, from morning until nighttime. Sun beds, table & chairs were plentiful. The rooftop terrace for the views out to sea and were a lovely feature.
The veranda is ideal for the shade, for lunch, dinner or bbq, if you decide not to frequent one of the local restaurants.
The kitchen area is superb, everything you need, utility room, the amount of storage space for all your clothes and cases is superb. The main bedroom with en-suite was excellent. Just keeping the ceiling fan on all night was enough to be comfortable.
But if sleeping in other bedrooms, I would expect you to have to keep the two air con units on all night.
So, you could not really fault the Villa, other than there is always going to be one or two silly things, which you quickly overcome. And by contacting our agent / owner, any problems were solved almost immediately.
Things to do were limited, there were books, puzzles & dominoes in the cupboards, for the time you were hanging around, waiting to go out, or if you just stayed in.
Overall, we gave the Villa 9/10, superb stay, beautiful Villa, but there is always room for improvement.
− The following are not really criticisms, but more really suggestions, if you wanted to make this Villa 10/10.
The pool is great, but it could really do with a hand rail, especially if you’re older, or a bit unsteady on your feet. More so for coming out of the pool, but obviously for getting in as well.
Also, be careful. When you enter the pool, there are four steps. The first three are normal size depth steps, then the last one is a double depth Step. So you think you are just one step away, but if you are shorter in height, because of the final step, you actually get a sudden drop up to your neck, or over your mouth. Once you know this it’s fine.
But then, on getting out of the pool, again especially if your older, have a slight disability & frail, when you go to get out, you tend to bash your knee on the first step, until you realise, it’s an extra large step.
Other than that. It’s a beautifully, well kept pool.
Another thing if I wanted to upgrade it too Ten, is, the floor tiling around the pool area, where you sit on the edge and the whole terrace, is made of some sort of stone, and not a ceramic or marble, and it’s not glazed, so therefore it is starting to crumble in places.
Therefore, when walking on it in bare feet, you tend to get all powdery, dusty feet, before getting your flip flops on.
One benefit, there is a nice cool off shower, when exiting the pool.
Outside could do with maybe some garden games, or make an area for a table tennis table, pool table, darts & badminton, especially if you have young children. But also just in general for everyone. Also a few tables would have been nice, to put your drinks on by your sun beds.
The wi-fi is vey slow. So make sure you have plenty of data.
The tv is fairly old, so when watching Netflix or YouTube especially, not only does it keep buffering because of the internet, the picture was very pixelated, as it is an older processor in tv. So could really be replaced.
