Location

− Dirty decking, dirty hot tub cover with holes in it, polystyrene in thw hot tub from the hole, dirty carpets, uht milk provided was out of date (oct 25) made resort aware of issues and no one attended property. Price did not reflect peoperty standard/condition.

Good and Bad

We liked the fact it was close to St Andrews 5 mins in the car. The lodge was clean inside and out except for a massive bird poo on the doors at the hot tub, which I had to clean on arrival. We used the sauna and steam room, which was ok, the steam room was far to high to the point where it was a burning heat 🥵 🔥 Sauna was ok. The resort was quiet and peaceful to be expected for the time of the year.

− The beds were not the best, too small our feet were overhanging the bottom of the bed, I'm 5"7 wifes 5"4 so its not like we were 6 footers or that would've been extremely uncomfortable) mattress was thin and bed was squeaky. We cut our stay short by 1 night as my wife was struggling to sleep.

Will choose another unit with proper maintenance to stay for the next time.

Its location and quiet environment is ideal for a holiday stay.

− No one to reach for information when there was a water cut for nearly 8 hours. No operation manual for all the equipments. Poor maintenance like loosen tapes, aged kitchen utensils with the knives and folks nearly rally apart. The clothes hanging racks are falling apart and can’t be used. No batteries in the TV remote control.

Wonderfully located, new facilities and thoughtful decorations, loved the little cafe with the owner roasting his own specialty coffee (which was delicious).
