Beautifully renovated apartment, pity about the neighbors noisy construction work.

Was very simple to collect the remote from the garage. Full instructions were given ahead of time for remote and key collection and location. The apartment was spotless, and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The view and balcony area was great. Location is brilliant for the beach as well as a short walk to the shops. We love the area and the South Beach road is the best because of the conservation reserve.

− Everything in the apartment was wonderful except for the constant banging in the apartment next door. They were renovating, and they were banging from 07:00 in the morning. The second morning, the wall picture (the spare room) fell off the wall and hit my daughter in the head as she slept, that is how hard the banging was... very uncomfortable. Even the neighbour was surprised that the apartment was let out at the same time the construction was happening.

− We arrived at the garage and there was no key We were told to go to the apartment and someone would bring the key We waited outside the complex with our luggage and our children for the remote , and guess what. The lady Said she just came to open She let us in and we waited for the remote Had to keep calling and asking for the remote because now we couldn’t go anywhere Only got the remote a day later Then on the second night electricity went off We were told it must have been us who tripped the main switch We were told the building would come to assist He never showed up We spent the night in total darkness Lights were only turned back on the following afternoon We had no hot water to shower, couldn’t even prepare breakfast

Proximity and view.

− Having nosey neighbours who were complaining aggressively at us when we arrived. Also, someone had tied two loafs of white bread to the satellite dish on the highest floor, directly above our balcony, in order to lure monkeys there we presume, which strictly goes against the rules of the complex. We woke up to white bread crusts all over the verandah, and big intimidating monkeys sauntering over our verandah for left over pieces. It was not something I would re-book simply because of this.
