We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was a treat, lovely, and colette was very professional ,on hand if we needed anything

We were Greeted by The Host Colette, who was lovely, down to earth & couldn’t have done anything more for you. Colette reached out the day before to double Check we were attending & To give us instructions on parking & was very thoughtful in a special request I had asked for with balloon’s, rose petals & a teddy bear. Colette had also got us some milk, bread & biscuits. Even though this property is the bottom floor of a house, you are left to yourself’s with no interruptions, But also it is a good thing because if there was anything wrong your host is only 2 flights of stairs up. There was a lovley pub within 15-20 minutes called the Lysander Arms which has a lovely beer garden, a pool table 🎱, darts board 🎯 & do quiz nights on a Thursday too. Overall a pleasant stay & would return again.

We liked everything! From booking to leaving, everything was just lovely. Colette, the host, is so warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for her. She sends you a message with instructions on how to use the hot tub, the door code and WiFi codes etc, which gets you off to a great start. The ground floor flat/apartment is accessible via a garden gate which takes you to the most loveliest of spaces, which is delightful during the day but even prettier in the evening when the lights come on. The apartment itself is spacious with a beautiful bedroom, decorated tastefully, with a tele, hair dryer and curling wand. There's a lounge space, kitchen equipped with all that you need and a bathroom with a large, walk in shower. There's even toiletries for you to use too. All your towels are there as well. The hot tub area was perfect! Very clean, warm and the ideal ending to a day after lots of walking around York. A few minutes walk away is a business park with several restaurants and a Tesco Extra, so you can get all the stuff you need, however, in the apartment there is already a good stock of tea, coffee, sugar and Colette had popped us some fresh milk in the fridge. There's also some snacks laid out for you too, which was nice to walk into after a drive. The apartment is about 3 miles from the city centre, but again, Colette came up trumps and dropped us off right in the middle, even pointing out some places to visit. We walked back, which was pleasant - Google maps takes you via a lovely little lake full of ducks, geese and other wildlife. An absolutely lovely weekend from start to finish at an exceptional price. − There's nothing to dislike! If we had to be really picky, maybe pop some hooks up near the hot tub for the towels, but that's really scraping the barrel as everything is perfect!

Apartment is well organised and nicely decorated apartment. We truly enjoyed staying here and carrying good memories from here.

We loved everything from start to finish. We were welcomed by the host, Colette, with open arms and greeted with a smile. Colette couldn't have done more of us and even took us into York centre, voluntarily taking the time out of her day. Will definitely return, 10/10 🥰

Had a beautiful, peaceful stay. Made extra special with the hot tub and an ever accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble, a lovely lovely lady. Thank you for having us xxxx
