Spacious kitchen and good size bedrooms with very comfortable beds and good bedlinen. Nice shower. Ground floor toilet.

− The house needed a good clean. Cobwebs , dust round edges and under furniture, grimy windows and fridge not cleaned properly. Someone else's left behind scones which had gone green with mould were final touch. No instruction booklet on how to deal with the heating - which was on when we arrived, and came on again during the night on one of the hottest days of the year. Windows difficult to open and one window had a broken key in it. One wardrobe door mirror broken and cracked, and we were not notified in advance of this. No coffee table in lounge. No response from managing agents to these complaints as yet. Also object to having to give so much confidential info for the credit card hold.

Comfy beds, spacious, quiet area

− Absolutely filthy. Hadn’t had a deep clean in a long while. Cobwebs in multiple areas, grime all over the kitchen, old food and food debris left in fridge freezer, dirty food splats in the microwave, greasy handles, oven extractor full of grease, dusty, dirty old sponges left for us to use in the kitchen. Very disappointing, notified managing staff on arrival but little assistance or communication to resolve. Multiple bulbs need replacing, grubby paintwork throughout and windows are in poor condition, difficult to use and look very tatty. Such a shame as this could have been a lovely property to rebook multiple times.

Comfortable family home

Lovely comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water, great shower. Kitchen facilities perfect. Managed to park very near the property every day and night if we had been out for the evening. Owner made contact prior to our arrival for key arrangements. Small issue on day of departure easily resolved following conversation with the owner. Ideal base for visiting family in the area, so hope to return.

− Double glazed windows could do with some TLC. Fine when closed but difficult to.open or.leave on a latch for fresh air. Only 1 set of keys although 5 adults staying at the property.
