We had a lovely, comfortable, relaxing stay. Vicki was very warm and accommodating.
9.0We asked if it would be possible to check-in an hour earlier. The Host (Vicki) promptly responded - willing to accommodate this. It was lovely to arrive at the property - met with coffee, tea, milk and biscuits (this not always being the case with other places we have stayed). The kitchen was well equipped (including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets). The shower was modern with various settings - plus, toiletries. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. It is located in a very quiet area. Great location as a base to visit local areas of interest. We struggled to know how to get the TV to work. So, we contacted Vicki. Vicki got back to us promptly and came to the accommodation to assist. She was friendly and approachable. We wanted to continue exploring the local area after the check-out time. We asked if it would be possible to leave one of our cars at the property for a few extra hours whilst doing so. Vicki was more than happy for us to do so. She was very accommodating.
− During the night, there was some noise. I think this came from the pipes i.e. heating. I had my ear plugs - so, was able to get back to sleep. The shower is great i.e. good pressure, hot water, easy to use. However, the shower is quite confined in space. Therefore, may feel restricted - if, for example... you are a larger person etc.
