Really nice, comfortable stay with fun amenities in quiet neighborhood

Very pleasant stay and really good value for money considering we (parents and 3 teenagers) each got our own bedroom. Even though we only stayed one night I'd gladly have stayed more if our trip was longer. The home had pretty much everything you'd want for a comfortable stay and we were able to use the firepit and hot tub, which were a definite plus. There's a pool too but we didn't really get time to use it. The place is in a quiet neighborhood about 12 miles from downtown Austin and just off I-35 and this was just fine for us. It's nicely appointed too, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to other travelers (but would just give a heads-up about the mildly irritating checkout issues).

− The checkout instructions were a little contradictory. I don't think this is the owners' fault but between what we were told by booking.com's messaging feature and what's actually posted at the house, it was confusing. The messaging function--which insisted it was not a chatbot but I'm not sure I believe that--told us that when checking out we had to put trash in the chute and leave the keys in the kitchen for the housekeeping service. Well, there was no trash chute in the house and there were no keys, it was a keypad entry. What's even stupider is that the very same message thread that gave us the keypad access code told us to leave the keys when checking out. There are also contradicting instructions on what to do with towels and linens. I am not sure what you have to do to talk to the owners or someone who actually knows about the house, and since we were only there for one night I didn't bother to find out--but heaven forbid we had some major issue, how would this so-called 'not-a-chatbot' know how to solve it? Really crappy booking.com feature--it must be new because I've been using booking.com for years without any hassle.

The decor was both beautiful and comfortable. There were many thoughtful details to ensure the stay felt like home. The host was responsive when needed and emailed to make sure all was well following our check in. We have talked about booking here again!

We rented this for my daughter’s bridesmaids to stay in for her wedding weekend. It was pretty close to perfect!
