Very nice cottage, but sleepless nights when raining
7.0We have been travelling for a while in Australia & New Zealand and the interior of this cottage has been the nicest we have seen so far: modern, nice wood, no carpets, comfortable bed, lots of windows (9 shades to bring up every morning is a good morning exercise🤠) giving lots of natural light and a nice view of the surroundings. The cottage is very clean, including kitchenware (which is pretty rare), bed lined and towels. Only exception: the barbecue, which I would have expected to be better cleaned and entertained before guests arrivals. The location is nice, surrounded by trees and plants, while the vineyard seems currently a bit let down and abandoned, possibly taking a sabbatical year. Nice to watch and various birds flying in the area.
− The roof and the position of the cottage under a huge tree (Chinese Banyan, we believe): the first night, it was raining almost non-stop and we managed to sleep just a couple of hours because of the constant noise of the rain on the roof. Moreover, the tree is full of fruits which are falling in big quantities (we did not count, but at time several dozens an hour) throughout the day and night, worse when raining. As other guests mentioned, indeed the street is pretty noisy from 7am to 7pm. It is very quiet at night, though. Internet was very unstable and slow. No smart TV i.e. no APPs such as Netflix or YouTube, etc.

10.0Lovely and peaceful property. We didn’t see the host at all. Large and spacious with a collection of quirky DVDs to entertain you. Everything went smoothly. Would definitely stay here again.
