Overall a nice place to stay, with good price/quality ratio

1. The apartment is in the first floor of a 2-floor house, landord lives there with his family. There are 1-2 additional apartments in the house. The apartment has two bedrooms (double bedroom and twin bedroom with two separate beds), is quite spacy and completely fine for a family of four. Bathroom is large enough and has a washing machine (which we did not use). The kitchen with the living/eating area is sufficent. The twin room has a small balcony and the entry is via a longer balkony along the house, which can be used to dry towels etc. The windows do not face the street but the garden, which makes it relatively quiet. 2. There is air conditioning in the bigger bedroom (unfortunately no air conditioning in the smaller twin room, but there is a fan which helps). 3. It is indeed about 600 meters from the nearest beach, a comfortable and safe 10-min walk or so. Also, you can walk to the main city street (some 5-8 minutes) with two large supermarkets, shops and restaurants. 4. Some 30 meters from the house there is a pizzeria but you cannot hear any noise from there. 5. A real estate agency takes care of the renting, arrival and departure (i.e. not the owner), all went well and staff was helpful.

− 1. The parking is a bit of a challenge, as you need to enter/exit a small parking lot from/to the street, which is relatively busy over the day as it is used to get to the beach. Also, as the owner has 2 cars and there might be an additional car from the other apartment, if you have a bigger car you need to be careful to "fit in". 2. The pictures in the booking.com are confusing, as they show a mixture of this and a smaller neighboring apartment - which is facing the street and has a large terrace. We booked because we thought the terrace belongs to the bigger apartment, but unfortunately not. The longer balcony available with our apartment is not large enough to sit outside. The small apartment seems not to be used for some time, and the terrace is actually empty and available, but as not used, it is not clean and usable, which is a pity. The terrace could be cleaned and given for use to the guests.

The house was clean, there was only one air-condition in one room, but we got a ventillator as well. It was very close to a very nice beach, so you can go there easily by foot. We were offered to use the terrace, which was very kind. The communication and payment went smoothly, and we could park there both of our cars, which made things easier, mainly because we were travelling with a 9 months old baby.

− We had some conflict as we didn't use the garbage as they asked from us, the system is so strict there. We were nervous so they got nervous as well, we had an argue, but finally we got back the deposit This attitude may not be acceptable in Europe, but of course we were in Sardegna, people are more passonate over there. So I recommend to read the garbage-rules carefully!
