Lovely place! Loads of space for a small family, quiet village! Shop nearby made it easy to find stuff, chipper and Chinese places were nice places to grab something to eat. The house itself was very well maintained and modern, giving us access to all amenities and looking gorgeous! Felt like I was staying at a 5-star hotel; towels in all rooms, beautiful showers, free fast wi-fi, nice TV, board games for families to play at night, modern washer that's easy to use, nightlight for the little ones, wireless chargers by the beds, wonderful outdoor seating perfect for an evening meal or breakfast in the summer!

− Honestly, it's hard to find any fault! It is a bit far from the beach, but we had a hired car and were well aware of the distance, so it wasn't a problem - if anything, it made it easier to get to other places in Cornwall without having to traverse Newquay. The roads around can also be a bit tricky (get ready to reverse a lot to let other cars by), but that is in no way a fault of the listing (just thought I'd made others aware if they're staying in St Columb Major)

Beautiful house, tea, and coffee supplied ☕️ plenty of space for us to eat and relax together ❤️ Plenty of bed space and bathrooms, very comfortable. Home from home!

− All great, maybe a little far from the beach, but I already knew this from checking out the houses location.

Fantastic place to stay at

Fantastic place for family and/or friends, fantastic location within a couple of minutes walk to pubs, restaurants, shops. Good connection to go to different places in Cornwall, believe me it won't let you down.

− Parking is only for one car so if you turn up with more than one car you would have to park a couple of minutes away but this is not a major problem as there are parking places to be found.

It truly felt like being at home!

The property was exceptionally spacious, offering plenty of room for a small family to grow and enjoy their time together. It was meticulously maintained, with every corner reflecting a high level of care and attention to detail. The immaculate condition of the home made it feel welcoming and comfortable, as if it had just been freshly prepared for new residents. It truly was a delightful place to call home!

La décoration très jolie , une maison très agréable pour une grande famille ( nous étions 6) . La terrasse était très agréable, les salles de bain très bien , le salon au premier étage très lumineux .

− Pas assez de poêles, ni d’ustensiles de cuisine alors que la maison peut contenir 9 personnes il y a juste assez de couverts . Le produit vaisselle de piètre qualité . La place de Parking un tantinet compliquée , surtout quand le voisin se gare en face . Une mauvaise isolation phonique , en particulier pour la chambre du premier étage. Pas de jardin alors que c’était noté sur la description . Il y a en fait une cour avec du mobilier extérieur. La hotte qui ne fonctionnait pas .
