8.0− Room with window facing inner very small patio, facing another room with about three meters distance. Make it imposible to open the curtain if you want privacy. Felt like being in a box
Uitstekende uitvalsbasis!
8.0Uitstekende locatie om Barcelona te verkennen, vlakbij metro, Plaça Catalunia en Passeig De Gracia. Betere locatie kan je niet vinden. Het personeel is bijzonder behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
− De bedden zijn zeer licht (verschuiven makkelijk) en hebben geen goede matras. Hier en daar zijn er wat renovatiewerken nodig (niets fundamenteels, maar toch). Redelijk wat lawaai van andere kamers én van de drukke Gran Via voor het hotel.
A Comfortable Break in a Good Hotel
7.0We had a twin room on the first floor facing the main road, which was not an issue in terms of road noise. The dressing room and bathroom were nearly the same size as the bedroom, which wasn't particularly small. The selection at breakfast was good and all staff were pleasant and helpful.
− For a few days we struggled to get the room temperature sorted. It was cool and wet for several days & I suspect the system was set to cooling only. But this issue went away after a few days. This is a common issue when autumn arrives and hotels have to switch between cooling and heating. We also struggled to cast Netflix to the TV as there's no in-built apps to use. At times the TV would get stuck in the hotel's pages and wouldn't exit to the other options. Powering down and back up again tended to fix the issue. I suspect the remote may have been the issue. The decor of the room was loads of grey and dull colours which makes little to no positive impact.
