Super cheap stay but extras added up and an uneasy nights sleep
6.0Location of the property in the tea islands was amazing, super beautiful and the views were stunning from the balcony. The staff were kind and enthusiastic, and made us some lovely food for dinner and breakfast. They also provided a mosquito net and bedding. They also had a really cute dog and some lovely cats! There was an option for a boat tour around the tea islands. The room rate was very cheap, as well as the food.
− Although this is quite a remote homestay, the bedroom was still full of webs and spiders. It just generally made us a little bit uncomfortable and uneasy. There was a fan provided but it was still very very hot throughout the night. It also did feel as though one of the owners was quite keen to make money from us - as soon as we arrived trying to get us to do a boat tour, pushing us to buy tea from him, trying to make us add on extra things that we didn’t want or need.

− I came to the homestay without reservation and the owner explained that the price for the dorm was 150k dong. I showed him that the price listed on agoda and blue pillow was 120k. Then he became irritated and said: ok book on agoda! and went away. I was a bit stunned but started to book it on my phone when it suddenly said no more beds available. So what he did was to quickly change it I didn't appreciate that so I booked the other homestay nearby but that ended up being the same place anyway. I wouldn't care about the price but the way this dude handled it was just wack.and greedy
