This was a relaxing comfortable stay with beautiful views, and good access to places we enjoyed visiting. The host was
10.0Villa Mahin was a good choice for our stay. We prefer relaxing quiet accommodation out of the fray that provides good access to culturally significant sites, and natural beauty. Villa Mahin checked all the boxes. Nearby places of interest include Arkadia Monastery, Spili, the Ruins of Eleuthera, the pottery village of Margaritas and really cool caves including Melidoni and Melatos. There are beautiful views of the ocean from the house and pool, and surprisingly we found it to be a bit cooler (more comfortable) up in the hills, with a nice light breeze compared to the beaches. We also loved the neighbors goats that came to greet us. Rethymno and Chania are easy day trips.
− There are 2 ways in to the house, be sure to take the road recommended by Christoph (navigate to Lidl first), because the other road is only a single lane wide which makes it awkward if a car is coming the opposite direction. Google Maps seemed to take us the wrong way…we forgot once. Oops.

10.0Mi familia y yo pasamos 10 fantásticos días en esta casa excepcional. Situada en una colina en el pequeño pueblo de Kirianna a pocos minutos en coche de Rethymno, las playas y todos los servicios que puedas necesitar. La zona es muy tranquila. La casa dispone de todo lo necesario para hacer tu estancia comfortable y agradable. Las vistas desde la terraza son increíbles. Tomarte un café por la mañana viendo el mar no tiene precio. Además cuenta con una area con piscina y barbacoa, ideales para pasar los días verano. Los propietarios Christoph y Mahin son una pareja entrañable y siempre dispuestos a ayudar en lo que necesites. Si estás pensando visitar la isla de Creta, no lo dudes este es el sitio ideal.
