Overall, we enjoyed our stay and there were several things we really liked about the property. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach and close to everything we needed in Port Douglas. The pool area was lovely and well maintained, and the living area was spacious and comfortable for our family.

− The main downside was that the bedrooms had a strong humid, musty smell, which was noticeable throughout our stay. It would also be helpful if more rubbish bags were provided, as only one bag was supplied for the entire stay.

It was great to find a two-bedroom space like this. It's walkable to the "downtown" area of Port Douglas. The best part was its proximity to the best restaurant in Port Douglas, Bam Pow.

− The only thing that was difficult was finding the lockbox. I would recommend asking the host to send photos so that guests can find it more easily.

Bright and modern Good facilities in the complex

A super family friendly resort, it is one of the last ones along the road I feel you can comfortably walk to town from. Also love that it is beach side and you can access the beach quickly via the back of the resort. The pool area is fantastic and interesting for kids with different levels, a bridge, a small slide, hot tub etc. The apartment was spotless and well set up for 2 adults, 2 kids. All the kitchen items we needed were supplied which is often not the case in private holiday rentals. Having 2 bathrooms is brilliant. The balcony is probably the best one in the whole resort with super comfy outdoor furniture for lounging around in and with a green leafy outlook.

− It lacks a free cupboard in the kitchen for food storage, but we made use of the open shelving in the kitchen for this.

Lovely apartment situated along the back road, beach side away from the main pool which is great when you have older teenagers who want to sleep in and not be disturbed. Access to the very private pool beneath us was great! Close to everything so you can walk to town along the beautiful beach. Comfy beds, lovely linen, towels provided and pool towels. Good standard kitchen with full size fridge. Good amount of space in wardrobes plus good lot of hangers. Beautiful balcony with fans. Great location and apartment.

− Lagoon bar cocktails are a bit second rate but fun to try. In the apartment, some more platters and entertaining crockery would be good. Get rid of the broken ironing board as there's already one there that works.

A lovely spot for a family with two older kids.
