Cheated and disappointed

The property is very green, with good landscaping. Also location is close to Gurgaon

− We had booked a family holiday, assuming it’s a 5 BHK Villa with pool that we were paying for. Instead, what we got were 5 cottages situated at 5 diametrically opposite corners of the property.. There was no proper living / dining area for the family to come together and relax, which was the main purpose of the holiday. The worst part is that the property listing on booking.com is misleading and even after we reached there and I spoke to the property manager about this issue, there was no recourse. Stayvista is deliberately advertising this property incorrectly, and the on ground staff also mentioned that all guests come assuming it’s an integrated unit, and then get disappointed . They mentioned that they’ve asked stayvista team several times to clarify the same to guests, but to no avail. Also, I had concerns over cleanliness of linen, bathrooms, towels etc. There’s really poor network at the property, which makes coordinating for issues like this even more difficult. All in all, 60k for 5 very basic, distant cottages made no sense!

Beautiful, nature getaway

The property is stunningly beautiful, large, very green and full of plants. There are many seating arrangements throughout the property, a walking trail, some interesting wildlife, a unique pool with a covered seating area next to it. Food can be prepared on the property and brought to your room. The vegetarian dishes we had baingan bharta, paneer burji and poha were excellent! The room was spacious and comfortable with AC and fan. The shower had good water pressure and was hot.

− As one might expect since the location is quite secluded and immersed in nature, there are a lot of gnats, ants, and mosquitos. The nonveg foods were not that great in taste and quite expensive. The pool was somewhat clean, but honestly needs to be treated with chlorine or thoroughly scrubbed with fresh water added daily. The bottom of the pool was slippery from bacterial and algae growth.

− Food was very average, whether it was the snack or the breakfast- almost frozen stuff which was reheated to serve. Bozo, the dog, albeit cute and friendly, was not trained at all and was becoming more of a menace to manage. The property description incorrectly mentions about treks, a facility not available at the property.
