Absolutley amazing
10.0This property is amazing!!! Family of 10 and for 3 days none of us stopped! There is pool, darts, table tennis, hot tub, so much space to play games on the grass ie badminton and football. The rooms are huge. The front room is cosy and they have everything you need. The hosts were lovely checked in via text when we arrived so we had there number and could contact them. Overall amazing and will be staying again next year.
A brilliant, relaxing time with friends
9.0Fantastic house with lots to do! A really beautiful accommodation that easily fits a larger group, there was 7 of us. The hot tub and games room mean the remote location doesn't really matter as you do not need to venture out!

Lovely house with pretty much everything you could need
10.0Beautiful house in a beautiful location. We had the downstairs bedroom and the only 2 things I could fault are the shower was a bit rubbish, it was either boiling hot or freezing cold, I dont know if the thermostat needs replacing. The second thing was it seemed as if there was a kingsize quilt inside a double duvet cover which caused big lumps of quilt in each corner which were very uncomfortable and rather annoying. The rest of the rooms were perfect.
− The outside furniture was a bit rocky and dated which meant we didnt really want to sit on them for too long as we were worried they would break.
Great Place to Stay for Families or Large Groups
7.0The location was great, lots of lovely walks with the dogs and the garden was dog proof. The games room was great fun and the outside bar would be good in the Summer. The lounge was a good size for 8 people and the dining table. The whole house was very spacious and the garden and outside areas. We went to Whitstable for the day which was only half an hour drive and had Sunday lunch at the Jackdaw in Denton which was exceptional.
− Decor is tired and needs a bit of tlc. The kitchen needs more serving dishes especially for large groups and a teapot, there's plenty of space in the cupboards.

10.0Everything was excellent! Such a beautiful house with everything needed. Big rooms, comfy beds, massive garden with lots of games, activities and a hot tub. We had complimentary things left for us on our arrival from the host. The host (Patrick) was very friendly, polite and responding quickly to my messages! Will definitely visit The Lodge again to enjoy few days away. I’m giving 10 out of 10!!!!
