− ANTS! A colony of ants started coming out gaps in the shower head and crawling all over it after a minute of turning it on. It put me in a tough situation as it was already late, and finding somewhere else to stay the night would've been the ultimate inconvenience at that point. Take a moment to imagine how it feels to stay somewhere, and ants just start pouring in from behind the walls. It was the worst and most regrettable stay I've ever had. For context, the ants happened after the host left a missing pillow, for the unit, on top of a dryer that sits OUTSIDE as I went to pick up my significant other and run some errands for a couple hours. Anything that touches a guest's face, or body, shouldn't be left OUTDOORS for any reason. I attempted to contact the host to see how he would attempt to compensate for the fact that my significant other and I had such a terrible stay. He messaged an apology and stopped responding after that. Do yourself a favor and stay at any of the more reputable places in San Jose. Hopefully, I experienced this awful stay so that others won't have to.
