Relaxing space to vacation near Lake Tahoe. Close to skiing and more. Very enjoyable.
9.0The house is big. Four good size bedrooms. Bathrooms clean and more than acceptable but slightly dated. Lots of living space to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked, clean and usable (there was a great coffee station). Location near the lake is great. There is lake access.

− Heating system Temperature difference between the 2 living rooms. I really recommend the a door gets installed between the rooms.
Uncomfortable stay due to broken heating, poor communication, and a host who backtracked on a promis
2.0Great location: close to Palisades Tahoe for skiing or enjoying scenic views of the lake.
− Our stay was extremely uncomfortable on the first night due to a broken thermostat, leaving the master bedroom and second living room freezing (around 50°F). Despite contacting the host, Lori, she was unable to resolve the issue that night, and later stopped responding to our calls. Guests meant to stay in the master bedroom had to sleep on the couch in the first living room. Lori apologized the next morning and initially promised a 30% discount for the discomfort. However, before checkout, she changed her offer to just $150 off our ~$2,600 total stay and then stopped responding altogether when I pointed this out. While she eventually sent someone to fix the issue and provided portable heaters in the morning, the lack of accountability and poor communication made this a frustrating experience. Would not recommend this property unless the heating system is confirmed to be fully functional.
