A perfect stay in a beautiful town
9.0An excellent apartment that is definitely worth considering for a stay in the beautiful town of Vicenza. Perfect location, a short walk from both the train station, and next to the Teatro Olimpico with lots of very good and affordable eating options. The apartment is close to the central piazzas without having any of the noise that comes with being on a major street. A really excellent base to explore the town and its surroundings. I walked to the Villa Rotonda within 30 minutes. The apartment is well-equipped with a dishwasher, hot plate, oven, microwave, coffee pod machine, fridge with an ice box, and washer/dryer. The host thoughtfully left enough pods for all the different machines which I greatly appreciated. The apartment is very well thought out in this way. The decor is clean and modern but comfortable, creating a very relaxing space. The bathroom is also modern with plenty of good hot water. The check-in process was efficient, and easy to understand. Overall a very polished experience and an easy place to recommend.
− The only real negative point is that the room has a lot of ambient light. I would suggest that the owner visits the property to see for themselves at nighttime. Covering up a few of the light sources, like the router light and wall tablet for example, would solve the problem directly. Perhaps also it might be better to fit some mosquito netting over the vent by the rear door. There weren’t many of them but they were frequent. Maybe the water in the potted plant immediately outside was attracting them. There was a little noise from the car park next door but never significant or late at night. Some would also consider the ample secure parking to be a big positive. Overall a very polished experience and easy to recommend.
