− I initially booked a 30-day extended stay here while in the middle of a move, but I had to leave early after 20 days due to major flooding issues that were never resolved. From the moment I arrived, the property didn’t match the photos at all. The front garden, shared with tenants upstairs, was constantly filled with rubbish, including torn bags likely due to foxes, and old furniture left scattered around. The mess was never addressed properly, despite bringing it to the owner’s attention. Inside the studio, the problems continued. There was a noticeable smell of damp, especially around the en-suite bathroom, likely due to previous flooding. I raised this issue immediately, but the owner’s attempts to resolve it were inadequate. He sent contractors, but they never fully fixed the plumbing, and the damp smell persisted. The toilet plumbing was so bad that it caused smells to resurface after flushing. Despite the initial offer of an alternative studio across the street, I was left in the current room for weeks as the owner delayed moving me, citing missing bed parts and lack of updates. He even left for several days to attend a festival, leaving me in a room with severe plumbing issues. Throughout my stay, the cleanliness was poor—no cleaning was done, the fridge smelled, the washing machine left clothes drenched, and the furnishings were old and torn. I requested basic things like an iron and mop multiple times with no timely response. Ultimately, I had to leave early because the flooding issue remained unresolved, making the stay extremely uncomfortable. While I don’t believe the owner is a bad person, it's clear he doesn’t know how to properly manage an Airbnb or prioritize guest comfort. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
