10.0This stay was for my daughter and a friend (for my daughters birthday) . And from what my daughter has said this was money well spent. Everything about their stay has made a memorable impact and that is what I wanted. I hope to visit this place myself in the future

10.0Honestly, the owners are amazing — they went above and beyond for us. It was the night before my mum’s wedding, and they even organised nails and an afternoon tea for us all, which was such a lovely touch. They literally chose the best afternoon tea I've ever had. The cottage itself is very stylish, spotless, and incredibly well-equipped — you can tell they really care about their guests. There’s a pub right next door, but don’t let that put you off; it wasn’t noisy at all, and the drinks were really reasonably priced! If your there for a week you have everything you need, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, iron, hoover, mop, highchair, pet facilities. I wish it had been summer because the outdoor spaces looked fantastic — there’s a garden area up some steps that would be perfect for sunbathing, an area for washing dogs, two outdoor seating areas, and a BBQ. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay and I'm 100% going to book again. If not here, another one of their properties. Also the place is extremely close to Rushpool Hall!!
− we only needed confirmation of the keysafe code, but the owners answered the phone straight away, so it wasn’t a problem at all. This isn’t a negative, but perhaps a small improvement could be adding an armchair that converts into a single bed in one of the bedrooms, which would allow the cottage to cater for up to nine people. Also, this was specific to our stay, but I can imagine wedding parties staying quite often as it’s close to Rushpool Hall. It might be useful to have a dedicated area or rail for hanging dresses, as they can be quite heavy and maybe a dressing table in a room.
Relaxing get away, loved the terrace, it really made the stay.
