Terrible management and falsly advertised and misrepresented

Property was spacious, big grounds and open space

− Disappointing stay – property did not accommodate our booked group as advertised Unfortunately, our experience at Trinity Farmhouse fell significantly short of what we had booked and expected. The most important issue was that we booked the property specifically to accommodate 11 guests, but appropriate sleeping arrangements and bedding were not available for all 11 people. We had considered other properties and would have booked elsewhere had we known this in advance. Ultimately, three members of our family left after two nights because they could not sleep comfortably, which significantly disrupted our family reunion. This was particularly disappointing as we had travelled from Australia for my 40th birthday and it was my first opportunity to meet my one-year-old niece. There were also a number of other issues during our stay: insufficient towels/bedding on arrival, poor cleanliness including cobwebs, dirt/debris and bottles left around/behind furniture, inability to access the advertised studio/annex containing the table tennis table, a dryer that did not work properly, and unpredictable hot-water temperatures which caused concern when bathing/showering the children. What disappointed us most was the response while we were actually staying there. We reported problems repeatedly throughout our four-night stay and gave management numerous opportunities to rectify them, but nobody attended the property. Instead, we were asked to search cupboards, locate linen/keys and troubleshoot several of the problems ourselves. The studio remained inaccessible throughout our stay. We accept that problems can occasionally occur with holiday accommodation; however, the opportunity to put things right while guests are actually there is extremely important, and unfortunately that did not happen. Following our stay, Red Kite acknowledged that our experience had been poor and that the problems had not been resolved during our stay.

It's not large it's huge... very beautiful typical English home with big garden and outdoors...

Wonderful spot in the Cotswolds!

The property is spacious and the house well-appointed with everything one could need for a comfortable stay. It is also located close to Cirencester and a good base from which to explore the Cotswolds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house decor was beautiful, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the beds were comfy, the location is so close to Cirencester (and close to my wedding venue!), and the communication was great before.

− Slightly sceptical about the external link to pay for liability insurance - made it a little more expensive unexpectedly!
