Coolum Family Hideaway with Pool, Sauna & Ice Bath

Pleasant surprise to see that pictures were a good representation of what to expect. Clean, well equiped, everything we needed. Pool became the best feature as with little ones the trip to the beach was a bit of a logistical nightmare, 18 minute walk with all that is required for a beach trip with children turned out to be too much. Great washing facilities, bedding, towels, cleaning equipment etc. everything felt clean.

− Location was ok but was a bit of a shock in regards to the area considering price point even though the beautiful treed back drop was stunning in the evening. A queen bed would have been better in the room with the double and we still would have been able to fit the portacot in. Working locks on the sliding doors in order to leave glass sliders open would have been great in order to be able to air place out during the day when a/c off. All fans had an issue in that speed was either really fast or really slow, the a/c was not that cool in master so a fan was necessary as well. Sauna worked great but even though we followed you tube instructions the ice bath did not operate as expected. This was disappointing, for me anyway as others did not care for it. Did not contact owners as we didn’t want interference during our stay. First aid kit needs to be restocked/upgraded as one of us cut a finger and there were no bandaids or much of anything for that matter.

Blissful indulgence felt so pampered at such a well equipped property very relaxed 😎

It had all the facilities one could need to feel relaxed a pool a sauna n ice bath and wonderful place to feel right at home away from home it was bliss staying there

− Can’t fault it other than it was tricky finding it it was a great property to stay at

Location was good but I felt the house was overpriced and was a little bit disappointed .

Location and space inside was good

− I booked the house due to having 2 bathrooms but we had to share 1 bathroom 3 out of 4 nights due to shower not working. Also when we arrived pool was dirty and my husband spent 2 hours cleaning it so we could use it

Perfect house for a group of people/family. Light, clean and had everything you could ever need. Like a very nice, cosy and comfortable home. So good to be able to enjoys the sauna and ice bath too, as well as the swimming pool. Lovely hosts and so helpful. 10/10 stay and we’re definitely coming back again.
