− Where to even begin. Firstly, if you arent friends with cockroaches - find somewhere else to stay. If you're squeamish, that should be enough reading for you. Otherwise, carry on.... This property was a complete nightmare and absolutely unfit for guests. We experienced a cockroach infestation from the moment we arrived, with multiple roaches seen daily across the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas. We have photos showing cockroach traps hidden throughout the property, which clearly indicates the owner was aware of the issue prior to our stay but attempted to cover it up rather than fix it. The kitchen was filthy—dirty cloths, an unwashed oven mitt, and visible grime in areas that should be sanitary. Hair ties and hair from previous guests were left on the bedside table, and overall cleanliness was appalling. Key features were broken or unsafe, including: • A sofa bed that was unusable, forcing one of our guests to sleep on the mattress on the floor. • Broken blinds offering no privacy. • A buzzing power plug to a lamp, which we had to unplug for safety. It clearly would not pass a test and tag check. In addition, the owner agreed to a 30% refund due to the cockroach issue, only to back out after we contacted Booking.com, despite us having written messages from him acknowledging the infestation. To make matters worse, the owner sent us daily messages (sometimes multiple per day) with unsolicited instructions, which became invasive and made us feel harassed during what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. This was not just a disappointing experience—it was unsafe, unhygienic, and completely unacceptable. Do not be fooled by the listing photos—this place is infested, poorly maintained, and should not be available for short-term stays. Avoid at all costs.
