A delightful, cozy place to stay in Oak Island.
9.0This charming, cozy, well appointed home has plenty of room for a stay and is a short walk to the beach. It can sleep 8 people (2 bedrooms with queen beds, an additional bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds). The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of pillows and blankets. The rooms are a bit smaller than they appear in the photos. The host, Jade, was quick to respond to questions and issues. There are snacks on arrival, as well as a coffee bar. We didn't cook, but the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook meals, including adequate dishes and silverware, and there is a grill outside. There is off street parking for 2 cars. Great breakfast at The Break about 10 minutes from the house.
− The cleaning service could be improved. When we arrived, there were towels in the dryer with the dryer running. There were also a few cobwebs from the ceiling to the drapes in one room.

10.0We didn’t cook while we were there but we could have cooked almost anything I can think of. The appliances were beautiful and more than up to just about any task within normal family life. The kitchen was well appointed. The bathrooms were lovely and well stocked. The bedrooms were lovely and while we only used,one I can’t imagine them not being just comfortable as the master. Blackout drapes all around which was great! The rest of the home was beautifully appointed! I loved the generous back yard, completely fenced with this a high fence, so my dog was safe!
− This is so petty I hesitate to say it, but the one thing that would have made it perfect was an ice maker in the freezer. But ice is pretty is to get and not a big deal.
