10.0Had a lovely time here. We met family for my wife's 60th Birthday so 4 of us stayed and 2 more came round for dinner. There is ample room and a good kitchen, we had takeaway one night and I cooked the next there was everything I needed. There are 2 fridges 1 in kitchen and one in the wash room, quite handy for all the beer and wine! Dishwasher and Washer/dryer were both welcome additions. Downstairs bathroom has a bath, separate cubicle shower with 2 heads and toilet + washbasin. Location is excellent very central to Southshore, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. 10 minutes stroll to the water front. But still quite and peaceful, couple of nice parks that are dog friendly within a couple of minutes walk. Gunwarf keys with all the attractions and better selection of shops is about 1/2 hour walk We walked it once and took the car once mainly because I don't walk too well. The main bedroom has a very clever en suite hiding in the wardrobe. With toilet, basin and shower. The enclosed rear garden/yard is a safe place for kids and dogs. One thing to note the stairs are a little difficult if, like me are not fully mobile, they are quite steep & go up then turn back on themselves, I found it easier to put my hands on the stairs to go up, then came down carefully. It's not a criticism just pointing it out. Nicely decorated with a seaside theme. Parking is limited on the road outside, the property provide a free parking permit, I drove round a couple of times and found a space round the corner. I had already stopped and unloaded first, travelling light is a foreign concept to my wife. We stayed the weekend of the first named storm of the season, didn't even notice it, apart from a dustbin crashing into the front door, it was lovely and warm and excellent double glazing. The hosts were very helpful and contacted us several times, but there was nothing we needed.
