The house was cozy and the bed was comfortable. There was a fairly well stocked kitchen despite the size. The host was responsive when we arrived.

The house was parked right next to a shed and family home, not in the middle of nature like the photos would imply. When we booked, we informed the host that we would be arriving late (10pm) but there were no lights left on, nor was the cabin pre-heated so it was really cold when we got in. When we showered in the morning, there was less than 5 minutes of hot water - would have been nice to know this in advance to avoid a cold shower. Some of the things in the kitchen were dirty.

Comfortable bed and pets allowed

I wish we could provide a better review and we were so looking forward to our first tiny house. We stayed in the tiny house for 1 night and there were a few issues. Firstly the tiny house we booked (the pics) we were told it wasn’t available upon arrival at the address. The host advised they would have to come and clean it (which the host said they would do, but they live 30-40mins away) and would we mind staying in the other tiny house. This tiny house was near the shed and closer to the main house and didn’t have any country getaway feel about it. We declined and requested the tiny house we booked be cleaned and available. This meant we could not check in until 330pm once they had been to clean. We paid extra for firewood but we were told on the way to the house to bring fire lighters and matches. I thought this would be included in the $30. One piece of wood was located by the fire when we arrived and the host said we could collect more, so we requested a refund on the wood and sorted ourselves out. The tiny house is located about 50m from the main house not 200m and although it’s peaceful you will hear noise from the main house (there was 5-6 young adult men staying there). There was no tea, coffee or milk available in the morning. In the rush of getting the tiny house clean and ready, some of the plates and cutlery were not overly clean and had food stains. Overall the one night away was comfortable but overall we felt there was no effort made to ensure we had a great stay and came away very disappointed.
