− The apartment is a bit tired. In need a of refresh.
Good value and great location, but be prepared for noise and homelessness on your doorstep.
7.0Good kitchen facilities and two fans provided. Nice TV and dining area. Easy key collection from a nearby newsagent. Comfy beds. Good value for such a central location, near shops, restaurants and the train station.
− Vertical blinds used in bedrooms so lots of daylight comes through in the morning. Second sofa was broken, the host is waiting for a replacement. Main lift was broken so we had to use the 2nd lift by the bins, which was very smelly. The host didn't have the code for the stairwell so we could only go down the stairs but not up. Given its central location, there is lots of homelessness and noise outside the flat - but this would be true for any apartment in this neighbourhood.

− It wasn't clean, the sofa was broken, the door handles weren't attached, 9now.com.au security door downstairs wouldn't shut, blinds missing in the bedroom meant that light came through early....there was rubbish in the drawers and used cotton buds in the bathroom- so the cleaning process wasn't very thorough! We contacted Booking.com to complain and ask for alternative accommodation - they said they'd get back to us within 24 hours with a resolution, and we didn't hear back at all.
Mixed - location great if somewhat noisy at night but the apartment was not stylish as described.
6.0I couldn’t fault the location it was bang in the city centre close to everything
− The property is in serious need of a refresh. The settee was broken, the kitchen would have benefitted from a proper clean. The sink didn’t drain. The bathroom around the shower screen needed a deep clean.
It didn’t happen. They cancelled at the last minute. No refund.

Dirty and inhabitable

− Anything! The photos on booking.com completely misrepresent the actual property. Both sofas were very badly stained and one was broken. Cigarette ends and crisp packet on the balcony, broken headboard, wall and blind stains through out and plenty of dust.
