Nice hotel, great swimming pool area and a perfect location to visit Durres
8.0Modern nice hotel with all the necessary facilitations. Location of the hotel is out of Durres centre but a 20min walk away. During the walk you pass all kinds of bars and restaurants. Albania is a rising star on the tourism sky so you see a lot of construction in the neighboorhoud (which did not disturb us). In the hotel area there are a lot of plants and flowers which makes it very pleasant and peacefull to walk. The weekend days were more busy then the week days during our stay (but even then not too much people). The swimming pool is great! the hotel has a private beach area which is nice but can be made more cosy. In the neighboorhoud ther can be found some very good local restaurants where you eat very good for cheap prices. Reception staff was very friendly and helpfull (welcome, organising taxi rides, organizing a birthday present for one of our kids). We ate lunch at the pool bar and it was good. More expensive then some local restaurants but worth the money. Rooms were nice and clean with a good shower. Breakfast area was a bit too small for several people at once. Breakfast was ok but can be improved with some small adjustments: free fresh orange juice, butter should always be kept fridged and add muesli for the yoghurt. Tables should be cleaned faster so guests can sit down immediately with their plates. Restaurant area is magnificent. A lot of space, nice view, big tables.......also a "bar" area where we saw the football matches! Staff was very friendly and welcoming in the mornings!
− Pool staff was not very efficient. Four people is too much for the days we were there. They did not see work. Glasses and plates were left too long between the sunbeds. Music level was shifted too much (and at some point too high) and when asked to lower, half an hour later it was changed again. A regular smile, a tour around the pool to ask if people want to drink and a steady music level would certainly improve turnover and happiness. To be clear, when being served some of them were also polite and respectfull!

10.0Lovely verdant grounds, a delightful place to relax, and the bathroom felt like a spa, flawless with lovely thick towels. The spa was just amazing. The staff were friendly and looked out for us the whole time
