Very disappointing
3.0The bed was comfortable and the shower quite good. The microwave worked as did the hob.
− The apartment was much smaller than it looked on the picture, although to be fair it did contain everything that was advertised. However it in the basement of the house down a steep set of concrete stairs. The three bottom steps were very slippery and covered in green algae. Water was draining from a small area at the side of the property and the outside wall was damp. The drawers under the bed, meant for storage did not open and the only place to hang clothes was on hooks on the wall. We had to put our bags in the shower as there was nowhere else to put them. The apartment was very cold, in spite of the bank holiday heatwave. On the Sunday we were forced to put the heating on and wished we hadn't as the whole apartment became damp with condensation, running down the walls and the floor was very wet and slippery. The pre-stay advice not to wear shoes in the apartment was nonsense- we should have been issued with wellies!! In the absence of a mop we had to put newspaper on the floor to soak up the water
