This apartment exceeded all expectations! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful and quiet at night. Check-in was smooth, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Jeff is a great host.

I stayed for almost three weeks at Jeff's apartment complex, which is set on spacious grounds and has a number of different apartments that are available for rent. Ample space for parking. There is a pool for communal use, although I didn't actually see anyone use it during my stay. I would certainly look to stay here again on a subsequent trip. Quiet, good level of comfort, host (Jeff) is very attentive and generous, good value, good location, cleaning included every day (except Sunday). Jeff also equipped the apartment with things he knew I would require or appreciate - a mosquito net, some outdoor furniture, a washing machine. Energy stituation is also very good - solar back up when there is load shedding. A/C in the main living/dining/kitchen area and a fan that works on solar when the mains are down. A gas stove means you can always cook. Big fridge/freezer. There is a shopping centre (Kubalonga) a couple of blocks away with a Pick n Pay, but an even better supermarket (Shoprite Select) is a few mins further up the hill (Pinnacle Mall).

− The mattress in my apartment was OK but not amazing. The apartment could also be decorated a little - paintings on walls etc - to make it a bit more homely and colourful. The kitchen utensils are functional but there is nothing beyond the basic pots, pans, crockery, utensils (kitchen knives are somewhat blunt). I'm glad I brought a stovetop coffee pot, for instance. The only other thing to be aware of is that the apartment is at the end of a bumpy dirt road. Not a problem for the careful driver, but it takes some addtional time for each trip. When it rains, there are lots of puddles and quite a bit of mud. My rental sedan coped fine, but it's 2-3 mins of very slow driving at the start/finish of every trip to/from home.
