It was very spacious, nice river in the backyard.

− Some things were a little outdated/run down. The back bathroom door seems to be broken so my group never closed it to prevent from getting stuck. Had slight issues with the coffee maker and took a while for the hot tub to get hot.

The riverfront setting is excellent—beyond compare. The hot tub room is awesome & was greatly enjoyed. Owner was very responsive.

− There were some condition issues, that prevented this gem from scoring 10, including broken screening on the porch that made sitting outside difficult due to bugs. Also some windows have stripped cranks. None of the decks, outdoor furniture & cushions had been cleaned. Also, it has 3 bedrooms but it should be noted 2 are interconnected. You need to walk through one to get to another & the shared bathroom is in the first bedroom. It’s a great set up for a couple & their children. A little notebook on how to operate things, including unusual door locks, emergency numbers, etc. would be a plus.

Stayed 3 nights, at $1800.00 expected better for our family of 5 adults.

Hot tube was good. Plenty of room in the house

− Light bulbs need to be changed out, some bulbs burnt out, and house is dim. My notes said we would arrive at 4:00 pm or after, not knowing how long our drive would take us, we arrived in the dark. In our Master bedroom I had to fumble around in the dark to find a switch on the lamp cord to turn on a lamp on far side of the bedroom, as it was not set up to turn on at the wall switch. Master bathroom has drain issues, drains in sink and toilet plug up, not draining. Was told blankets were in a chest but only pillows were in there. Also was told extra blankets were in master closet, but there were only sheets in there. Also told extra blankets were on sofa bed, but no blankets were on the sofa bed. Also no hairdryer anywhere. Tv in master bedroom not working, cable to direct tv broken laying on floor. Wood deck boards leading out back broke with my adult daughter walking on it, would be very dangerous for children. I was told he informed me on how to lock one of the tricky outdoor locks to the house, but not true. I was not told any such thing, and we could not lock the back door, we felt unsafe with the door not locking. He told me he always had at least four face cloths in master bath, but again, not true. We had one face cloth in master bathroom that night, but did find more towels in the dryer the next day. No laundry soap to wash our cloths. Someone had spilled sticky stuff, possibly a drink, on the garage floor where we tried to play pool, and ping pong. Cleaning person not doing a very good job at preparing the house. My adult kids were able to connect to Wi-Fi fine, but my kids could not get my phone to connect? Not sure why. Carpet stained. I was told I did not read his rules? Yes, I read all of the rules, and also read all of the rules to our whole adult family upon arrival, and at leaving, so all knew the info he wanted to share. We are a responsible 5 adult family ages 38-80 yrs. We did not cook or eat any meals at the house. Patio furniture dirty.

− The game room was way too dark and hot to use. Did not get compensated for not having air conditioning for approximately 30 hours in 100° days.
