Very disappointing and exhausting experience.

Unfortunately, we cannot mention any significant positive aspects of our stay. We left the property after the first night due to its condition, so there was very little opportunity to enjoy the accommodation.

− We booked Villa Dafne for 5 nights but had to leave after the first night because the condition of the property was far below what was advertised and what we reasonably expected. The apartment showed multiple signs of poor maintenance and was not in a condition that made us feel comfortable staying there for our holiday. The water boiler was not working, so we were unable to take a shower. There was no internet connection available, and the apartment was so cold during the night that we had to sleep in our jackets. In addition, many of the kitchen utensils were greasy and not properly cleaned. We documented these issues with photos and videos during our stay. As a family travelling with children during the Easter holidays, this situation was particularly difficult. What should have been a relaxing family vacation turned into a stressful experience, and a significant part of our holiday was ruined as a result. After discussing the situation with the host, we were told that the 4 unused nights would be refunded. Unfortunately, months later, the issue is still unresolved. Despite numerous emails and messages to both the host and Booking.com, we have been unable to get a meaningful response or resolution. We feel that our concerns have largely been ignored, while the refund issue remains unresolved months after our stay. Although we paid €566.62 for the booking and only stayed one night, we have so far received only a credit of €113.32. The remainder of the refund is still unresolved. As a result, we lost vacation time, money, and a significant amount of energy trying to resolve this matter. The lack of a clear solution and the ongoing uncertainty have been extremely frustrating. We are very disappointed that this situation remains unresolved and cannot recommend this accommodation based on our experience.

Top ausgestattet für sehr heisse Tage

Sehr gut ausgestattet für die heissen Sommertage. Es hat ganze drei Klimaanlagen, in allen Zimmern/Wohnzimmer. Weiche Betten. Wifi (8-16Mbit/s). Die Couch ist neuer als auf den Bildern. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Richtung Meer die Strasse hinunter nach links ist eine Bucht mit einem "kleinen" Strand (Zwischen Lido di Noto und Hotel Eloro) der ist super, perfekt mit Kindern. In der Nebensaison fast oder ganz leer. Eigener Parkplatz direkt am Hauseingang. Wir waren 5 Nächte mit 3 Kids und 1 Hund dort, alles perfekt wie auf Booking beschrieben.

− Die Zufahrtstrasse ist etwas holprig, aber da kann die Vermieterin vermutlich selbst wenig daran ändern.

Proprietaria gentile e disponibile ad ogni richiesta, casa pulita e dotata di ogni confort esattamente corrisponde alle foto. Vista mare e spiaggia fantastica con mare stupendo a 100mt. Posizione ottima per raggiungere località turistiche da visitare come Noto, Ragusa,Modica,ecc..

Casa bellissima in una posizione top, spiaggia a un minuto a piedi, io ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia e siamo stati divinamente, Aida la proprietaria , gentilissima e super disponibile

The location is awesome: the beach is nice, not anyhow crowded, pretty clean, and is in some 100-150m from the property. For small kids, the beach would be great, as the sea is shallow for 30-50 meters from the shore..

− In the property, everything is pretty old. Electric lines do not match modern equipment: if you want to use two burners on a stove and an air conditioner, then you get a power cut immediately. To turn the electricity back on you have to go to the fuse box, which is in the main street (some 100m from the property). Thus, we cooked using one burner, which made cooking a really long process. The other calamity was the water supply cut: water just disappeared. Then we learned that you need to get to a water pump box, open two faucets, and turn on the pump back. Unfortunately, during the last day, even that trick did not work, so no water to wash, drink or flush the toilet. And some minor things: it'd be nice to have more mugs, cups, toilet paper, hand soap.
