Endlich konnten wir einmal unsere Freunde aus der Schweiz in San Foca besuchen

Das Apartment liegt direkt am Strand (ca. 50m). Super Aussicht auf das Meer von der Terrasse. Das Auto kann entweder vor der Wohnung auf der Strasse abgestellt werden oder man parkiert in der privaten Einfahrt. Für grössere Fahrzeug aber fast etwas knapp. Es ist jedoch nicht einfach, da wieder herauszukommen, wenn die Nachbarn ihre Autos irgendwie auf der Strasse stehen lassen. Die Wohnung hat einen gewohnt süditalienischen Charme und war gerade richtig für uns. 2 Schlafzimmer (falls man keine eigene Bettwäsche mitbringt, stellt Alessandro diese gerne für einen Aufpreis bereit. Muss aber im Voraus abgemacht werden) mit Betten, die wirklich bequem waren. Uns hat der Rücken jedenfalls nie geschmerzt. Das Wohnzimmer mit Sofa, Küche und TV ist praktisch eingerichtet. Wir haben nie gekocht. Aber der Caffè aus der Macchina am Morgen war Pflicht. Der Kühlschrank und der Tiefkühler sind beide sehr gross (Tipp: Kühlbox und Elemente mitnehmen. So hat man immer kalte Getränke am Strand dabei). Die Dusche im Badezimmer hat sehr gut funktioniert. Toilettenpapier und Handseife mitbringen ist empfehlenswert. Sonst muss im Supermarkt eingekauft werden (ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt). Die Klimaanlage läuft und kühlt perfekt. Wir waren sehr froh darüber. Alessandro ist ein sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Gastgeber, der uns sehr gut instruiert hat. Wem das Italienisch sprechen etwas schwerer fällt, kein Problem, mit Alessandro kann man sich auch in Englisch unterhalten. Wichtig: Das Abfallmanagement ist in Italien etwas speziell (Stichwort: Trennung der Abfälle). Aber man kann sich gut darauf einstellen und mitmachen. Alessandro hilft da mit dem Tourenübersichtsplan via WhatsApp gerne aus. Zusammenfassend kann gesagt werden, dass es für diesen Preis wohl keine bessere und grössere Wohnung in San Foca gibt. Im Blue View Apartment ist man sein eigener Herr, hat viel Platz und ruhig ist es zudem auch noch. Passt.

− Die Hautausschläge und Sonnenallergie der Frau bei diesen doch sehr hohen Temperaturen von über 35°C und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit. Obschon immer blauer Himmel und top Wetter, war die Hitze leider fast nicht zum Aushalten. Aber da kann das Apartment und Alessandro natürlich nichts dafür.

The location is perfect, very close to the sea. The apartment is spacious and well equipped.

− The electricity is not rated for much consumption and the fuse goes off every time you have some more appliances or charges switched on. We were there in February and the apartment was quite cold as the AC that is usually used for heating did not work (or was not ready). The heaters were not enough, especially in combination with the poor electricity rating.

Perfect quiet location for short walks to the beach and a good base to visit other areas via a car

Location was perfect. Very near the sea and not too near the town centre (which was a 5 minute walk) meaning the residence was quiet in the night. There was a parking place outside which was good. Kitchen was very well equipped. I would recommend travelling to Eurospin 7km away for a very good stocked grocery store. Coffee and ice cream at the Good Ice shop was nice. There are nice beach walk and a forest nearby. The host was excellent and communication before and during the holiday was very good and helpful. He greeted us when we arrived with nice cakes:)

The location is very good. The beach is within walking distance. So are a couple of restaurants and mini-markets. The kitchen was very functional and well equipped. Having breakfast (and other meals) on the balcony was great. The host Alessandro was absolutely the best you can wish for. Always there for you when we called about small issues, like where the fuses are located, or which places to go and visit in the region. And if you set up a physical appointment with him at 09:00, be assured that he knocks on the door at 09:00, not a minute before, nor one later! And always with a big smile. One more thing, if you can't live without the internet you might be worried that the apartment doesn't have wifi. That was not a big problem, there was 4G net and most of the time even 5G net available outdoors and indoors.

− Not much to write about here. If you absolutely need anything to make a note about is that we are not that fond of the slightly blueish light from LED lamps.
