Location was perfect for us.

− Air conditionning was not available (turned off for the season at this time of year is understandable to reduce waste of energy) so we left the windows open at night open to fresh air but also city noises (train & police sirens).

Clean, comfortable and quite. Location in Downtown Oak Park was good for us. Enjoyed the shopping and restaurants. Appliances all worked well. Host was darling and saved the day on any problem.

− Last minute parking change to off-site was a bummer and added more confusion. Laundry was not available as it needed a secured access. Light switches operate the TV sets, not the lights. One set of blinds does not open to the view. Bath tub is very slippery.

Very disappointed with Booking.com for false advertising. Cleaner bathroom and linen needed in apt

Overall the facility was nice, mostly clean, except for the tub. The location was perfect for us. The instructions and code received for the front entrance were incorrect so we were unable to enter the building. Someone from the property management office had to let us in. Once in the building the apartment code and key/fab worked fine.

− With regards the apartment - the bath tub was dirty with a lot of hair in it. We had to clean in ourselves. Several bath towels and hand towels had stains. There were no water glasses in the apartment. With regards Booking.com - I was very disappointed with the booking process. My booking said I could make changes with no penalties until Aug 27. When I tried to change my arrival date within that timeframe I kept getting errors on the booking.com site and had to call the live person. She informed me that the change was made programmatically could not confirm until the following day. Then I received a message telling me that I could change my reservation from 5 nights to 4 nights but I would still have to pay for 5 nights. That is false advertising. As I did not have the time to look for another place I kept the reservation paying for 5 nights even though we only stayed for 4. I will think twice in the future to book here.
