The most beautiful home one can stay in Spello!

Our host was simply the best one can hope to encounter. Simply perfect, kind, attentive, helpful, generous. The accommodation is super comfortable, with gorgeous details throughout, and very clean and full of character. It has the most amazing terrace with a beautiful hand painted ceramin table with Italian overlooking the vast valley towards the Appenines. There are flowers all around the home, reflecting the unique character of Spello. We are truly grateful and overjoyed for having had the opportunity to experience Spello by staying at the exquisite location and beauty of A Room with a View. We will return precisely to this accommodation as soon as we can travel to Italy again.

This property is all about the view and the location. The terrace is amazing and wonderfully shaded for most of the day. The living area is spacious and comfortable. Being in the wall away from the main piazza it’s quiet and peaceful with a view to die for.

− The bedroom and kitchen layout is a bit weird with little space to prepare simple breakfasts and even a cup of tea.

Exquisitely beautiful and charming

So happy I discovered this apartment. It’s located at the top of an ancient stone building overlooking the countryside. The area is peaceful and quiet. It felt very clean and safe, far from all the city noise and pollution. Plenty of street parking right in front of the building. Inside was super clean, roomy, and tastefully furnished. There are charming original details everywhere, like stone walls and exposed beam ceilings, but the apartment has been updated with modern amenities. The bathroom was really nice and conveniently included nice quality shower products in eco friendly pump bottles. What I really liked was that it’s very dog friendly. There were covers to protect the bed and sofa, towels to wipe down paws, and nice dog bowls. There’s a secure gate at the front door so I could keep the door open and not worry about my dog getting out. It’s an easy walk to the town center on charming cobblestone streets. Lots of beautiful old buildings to see along the way. The host Terese is gracious and helpful. Ask her for recommendations where to eat in town. The food is delicious. Thank you for everything!

Breakfast was not included. As a courtesy, there was some fruit, Tea and Coffee. I very much enjoyed the complimentary bottle of Prosecco that helped me to cool down in this heat wave, it was delicious while relaxing looking at the magnificent view. I quite enjoyed my stay at Spello, which I find delightful . The location: Excepcional. I enjoyed the panoramic view and the feel of the ancient town. I appreciated the ancient Architecture, the peace, the comfort, but also the high thread count on sheets. Lovely ! I spent two beautiful nights ! Ready to come back !
