Did not stay. Paid for another place on the island.
1.0The location was ok. Would have preferred it closer to the ocean.
− Had issues getting the keys. Our confirmation was for a check in of 3:00 pm. I called and was told the check in was at 5:00 pm due to the person meeting us had a job and could not meet us until after work. They made an exception and got someone else to get us the key at 3:00 pm. When we got inside, the place smelled moldy and there was a big (looked like a giant cockroach) bug in the toilet someone had killed and thrown in there. We left to go get dinner and came back to find a few other bugs. After much consideration and thought, we decided we could not stay, so we left. I texted Russell and let him know. I also told him I should not have to pay for the cleaning fee, since we did not stay there. He basically told me there was not a problem with the island bugs and the place would have been better if they did not have to accommodate me to get in earlier than 5:00 pm.
