We appreciated Shanna’s hospitality and communication throughout the stay, especially the flexibility with the early check-in which made arrival much easier. The host was responsive and helpful, and overall we appreciated the space and atmosphere that had been created at the property.

− There were a few issues during the stay that affected comfort and convenience. On arrival there was a smell in the property and some of the air fresheners appeared to be empty. The sink in the first-floor bedroom did not drain properly, and the vehicle entry code was initially unclear which made access a little difficult. The property also felt quite cold during the stay, and the heating required a code we did not have, so we were unable to adjust it ourselves. The blankets provided felt quite light for the temperature. The pull-out bed in the first-floor bedroom also did not have bedding available, meaning it could not be used. We additionally ran out of essentials such as toilet paper and washing-up supplies during the stay and had to purchase these ourselves. There was also some confusion around the check-out time as different times were referenced in different messages.

I really liked how modern the property was, and how beautifully it is styled. The location was prime, close to everything. My family had such a great time. We’d definitely be coming back next summer. Thanks to the host Shanna for her hospitality and her always quick response to our needs. It was a great time.

− Decor is a bit dated, showing signs of wear and could do with repainting. Playboy posters are a bit of an odd addition tbh.

Not worth it, host and booking.com will not help you and will charge you extra money on top!!

How fast the Host responded to questions and queries. Location close to main attraction Basic amenities provided. ( no towels)

− They had quoted me a price for 6 people and 2 children, once i had paid they said that on the app i have only put down 1 guest ( no clue how that happened or how i would go about doing that). They took an additional £300 on top as a deposit which they now refuse to give back as they are saying that i put only 1 guest down. It confused me a lot as i requested a cot and 3 parking spaces so how they thought i would be only one guest makes no sense to me....Host and booking.com have not helped me in any way they just keep telling me to talk to the other person very very dishonest. Host now accusing me of putting one guest down to lower rates when i have emails stated that for 6 people and 2 children it would be £1031. Do not trust this at all!! i requested a cot which i never received which i was meant to be refunded for but shocker never got that money back.She kept telling me she would and never did. Paid additional £80 for 2 extra parking spaces but it was such a mess on the night as none of this was organised properly and we had to run around calling the building manager, after sorting out still couldn't guarantee the same spot which was difficult as we had two young children with us. Host is in Malaysia which means that she can't sort anything out really. we had to compromise a lot and felt quite betrayed by the whole thing. we were trying to be understanding but it is not worth paying the money for.

We were given clear instructions on how to enter the property and parking etc. The house was exactly as in the photos. It was clean and well equipped. We had plenty of room for us all. There was a tesco over the road so we could easily pick up some breakfast essentials etc. The 101 bus goes from just round the corner right into the city and took less than 10 minutes. We used this a lot due to the weather but you could easily walk into the city also. Shanna was quick to reply to us when we needed to arrange an extra parking space last minute. There were some lovely restaurants nearby such as Cucina Rustica. The area was really quiet at night which was lovely and a bit unexpected for a city location.
