10.0Die Unterkunft ist sehr speziell und ansprechend. Der Jacuzzi ist toll. Dominic der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
− Wir waren zur Jagsaison dort. In dieser Zeit werden auf Malta Vögel geschossen (auch solche, die vom Aussterben bedroht sind, während ihres Überflugs von Afrika nach Europa, machen sie Halt auf Malta/Gozo). Bereits morgens in aller Frühe waren Gewehrschüsse zu hören, oftmals auch in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Gerade wenn man gerne spaziert und mit kleinen Kindern trägt dies - neben dem Biodiversitäts/Artenerhalt Gedanken - überhaupt nicht zum Wohlfühlen und touristischen Erleben bei.

Poor value for money - think twice
5.0Quiet location, pleasant terrace (albeit adjacent to a neighbouring terrace/ flat which was fortunately vacant during our stay). Dominic, the host, is pleasant and friendly.
− This is a cave - despite constant ventilation, the place is (and smells) damp. The walls and ceilings are not sealed, meaning insects and dust throughout (including bed sheets on the upper beds). Some maintenance required (e.g, loose shower head holder, poor quality mattresses). Kitchen has bear minimum (eg, 4 forks, 4 spoons, 4 cups, etc.) meaning constant washing. Overall positioned as a luxury let, it falls behind standards and offers poor value for money in our view. We wish we had stayed elsewhere.
