− het huisje was moeilijk te vinden, 30 minuten moeten zoeken op het park, de auto moest buiten de slagboom geparkeerd worden, dus je moest lopend zoeken. Daarna het sleutelkastje open maken en weer terug naar de parkeerplaats om de auto op te halen. Best vervelend na een drukke dag.

The owner was so pleasant to speak to, had great communication and helped me so much with my booking in and stay. The property was amazing couldn’t have asked for anything better especially for the price paid, it truly was the heart of my holiday me and my friends loved it. The location was also so beautiful and close to shops etc.

− I wouldn’t say this was specifically about the property but there was no public transport to get to the beach or Amsterdam itself, the property description states it’s close but it’s about a 45min drive to both either way we were lucky to have a vehicle to drive to and from and see the lovely scenery on the way to these locations.

Disappointing stay — not clearly described and inconvenient with children

The house was clean, which we appreciated. Parking was available directly in front of the house, making unloading luggage easier. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the garden was nice and pleasant, especially for a short stay.

− The description did not clearly mention that the accommodation is located inside a half empty vacation park. If this had been clear, I would not have booked it. I arrived at night with small children, and the check-in process was very inconvenient. I had to leave the children alone in the car while I went to collect the badge needed to enter the park with my car, which took around 20 minutes. The road signs and map were not lit, so it was very difficult to find the accommodation in the dark. There were also two areas with the same number, which made it even more confusing. The same issue happened at check-out. I had to park the car outside the complex and leave the children alone again while returning the badge to the locker in front of the accommodation. Communication was also difficult. The host did not speak Dutch or English well, and I could not understand her properly on the phone. The only thing she kept repeating was to read the instructions on my phone. The house itself is quite old. The floors are noisy, so when the children went upstairs, it woke us up downstairs. The accommodation was also missing some important equipment, such as a dishwasher. Overall, the stay was disappointing, especially for a family with young children.
