Worst Stay - I have booked several times at Masingita and never experienced such a horrible stay
1.0Location - property is centrally located in Sandton - with easy access to many places around North of Joburg. Restaurant downstairs is quite convenient.
− Furniture is old and damaged- the couch in the lounge feels like you are sitting on bricks… my friend fell when she sat at the edge of the couch… only to find that it was actually broken and supported by actual bricks!!! The apartment is close to the lift so you can hear the loud noise as people go up and down. It is also on the 2nd floor and therefore very close to the bar on the 1st floor- it was difficult for us to sleep with the music loud and a rowdy crowd. The check-in process was also not clear - we were told on arrival that there is a deposit that needed to be paid into the owners bank account. The host was very rude and condescending… the deposit was refunded but not as an immediate payment- yet they insisted on it being cleared immediately for us to gain entry into the apartment.
