Wonderful location with stylish amenities for a beach resort stay at a fair price.
9.0Love the location with good beaches a short walk with decent snorkeling/swimming. Excellent birdwatching in the neighborhood a short walk south produced several life birds, including elegant trogan and cinnamon hummingbird. The views are world class with Los Arcos Marine National Park in the foreground and the sweep of the Cabos Corrientes coastline in the background. Nightly sunsets ranged from Rothkoesque paintings to yes-there-is-a god good night/good day revelations. Penthouse is nicely decorated with eclectic artwork and top of the line furniture, bedding and kitchen appliances. Terrific host who happily helped us solve several minor issues.
− Late check-in 4 p.m./early check out 10 a:m. The next door hotel caters to a budget clientele and the music from pool games (bingo etc) is noisy from 3 pm to 5 p.m. daily. On site restaurant is mediocre at best, but we bussed into Vallarta and south of Mismoloya for great dinners. Stairs leading up to bedrooms are narrow and twisting and may be challenging for aged and less spry guests.

10.0The ocean view from the balconies and having no issues with hot water. The staff was super friendly. Loved how there's a little store and a restaurant available.
− The stove. It was horrible to use. It was a hassle. Could not get it to work right away. It would take a few minutes, and then it would only turn on the high settings (#7 through #9, not able to go lower), and I was not able to cook my family's meal properly. Ended eating out more often than planned and having sandwiches a couple of times for dinner as well.
Will return for sure, worth every penny!
