− I m putting one star because I cannot put 0. I stayed in casa de Concetta rented through Go Elba in portoferrajo, and it has been one of the most disappointing accommodations I have ever experienced, and I have traveled extensively throughout my life. While the listing does mention the additional charges for towels and linen, it does so in a very unclear manner, making it very easy to miss until after booking. This deceptive practice feels like a tourist trap designed to catch guests off guard and extract more money from them. There was a leak in the ceiling wetting the floor and the bed sheets that I had brought and propagating a disgusting smell in the apartment. The owner showed up a few times unannounced early in the morning or when i was away from the apartment. The WiFi doesn’t work properly, and there is noise from the neighbors on the street. Additionally, they charge an exorbitant daily fee of 10€ for air conditioning, which is essential during the hot and humid weather and to keep mosquitoes at bay. The bedrooms lack windows, making the space feel cramped and stuffy. The so-called "double" bed is actually a foldaway bed that collapses when you shift your weight to one side, leading to an uncomfortable night's sleep. The pillows provided are worn out and in such poor condition that they are falling apart. After my departure the owner used false pretexts to keep my deposit and was insulting. I would strongly advise against booking this apartment. Furthermore, the customer service provided by the booking.com is completely useless. Stay away from these blood suckers. STAY AWAY FROM IT. Plus booking are no help at all.
