8.0I loved facing the beach and the close proximity to it. I loved the fact that they had a cookout for the residents and a lemonade stand and face painting for July 4th. I'm happy they had elevators. It was well worth the price (which was $$$) for all if the above reasons. We met some regulars that were really nice folks too. We stayed in room 308. It was really clean and had everything in the room we needed to make our stay comfortable.
− I called 2 days before check in to ask if we could check in a couple of hours earlier. I spoke to a guy who gave me every excuse not to gave an answer. He said someone would call me back, they never gave me that courtesy and never called back. So then we got there and the girls at the desk were not helpful much, we've never been there before and the ding dong answer to get to the room was not very detailed so after trying to figure it out, we had to go back and ask again.. we didn't appreciate the running around in the heat with the luggage. The girls didn't seem too friendly and it seemed like an inconvenience. The other staff members that handled the cookout and stuff were fantastic though. The other thing was the room key band. They stopped working after a day out and about and we needed new ones. We got them, they didn't work either. Finally got some that worked.
