− Hard to even understand how the owners can dare charge the money on this place it’s the most basic apartment we have encountered in the Whitehaven local are. Started with walking in to the house where it stunk of strong chemicals all windows were left open when trying to shut a window handle fell off in my hands , moved on to checking house ceiling falling apart walls cracking toilet block after a flush , got in touch with owner basically didn’t want to know said her house was acceptable and new carpets had been fitted I can assure you now there’s absolutely no feel of a home in this place might aswell be a prison home all walls slapped with white paint no colour nothing basic ikea furniture , kitchen doesn’t even have a freezer absolute dive were construction lads so don’t usually mind half a bad place but this was just plain and simple awful. Moved out after one night was booked in for 3. Contacted owner about refunding half the cost got rejected saying place was nice and had great reviews from previous guests must of been blind to how awful this property is would advise you to employ some decent painters and maintenance team this house needs a serious over haul to make it anywhere near nice for what they are charging.
