Unless you are desperate for the location, choose somewhere else.
4.0Good location and responsive host, but very sparsely furnished and poorly equipped e.g no table to eat from other than the breakfast bar for two, the u bend on the sink fell off as it was only taped on, one sofa so one of the four of us sat on the floor, the wardrobe door was hanging off and there wasn’t a single hanger. The second bedroom is also very small, with about 50cm around the bed on all sides.
A nice apartment that just needs a few extra touches.
6.0This is a lovely high-ceilinged apartment, quite newly decorated, in a fantastic location close to Jesmond metro station but in a quiet residential street.
− While nicely decorated, it currently lacks some practicalities. There were no saucepans or utensils (apart from cutlery), so it was impossible to actually cook anything (I've donated a corkscrew/bottle opener). The lounge is beautiful, but lit only by a harsh overhead light. A couple of lamps and an extra chair or two would make all the difference. The second bedroom has very little light and almost no space around the bed; for one person it's OK, but two would be very cosy.
Fine for a short stay if you’re not planning on spending much time in the property.
