− La strada sterrata anche se percorribile è piuttosto sconnessa, con un'auto sportiva sarebbe impossibile arrivare alla casa.

la posizione è stupenda, in mezzo ad un bosco di ulivi e pini marittimi

− i problemi sono iniziati all'arrivo alla struttura. Per accedervi si deve percorrere un tratto di strada sterrata molto stretta e non manutenzionata, l'ultimo tratto di circa cento metri è in forte pendenza con avvallamenti e buche molto difficoltoso da percorrere tanto che l'auto, una normalissima ford focus ha strisciato più volte il sottoscocca. Sul vs sito nelle caratteristiche della struttura non è menzionata la difficoltà di accesso. Per i primi 2 gg per percorrerla abbiamo dovuto armarci di badile e carriola, che fortunatamente si trovavano in loco, e chiudere le buche più profonde, restando comunque difficoltoso il passaggio. Nei due gg successivi ( 8,9/09/25), a causa del diluvio riversatosi sull'Elba, l'acqua pluviale fuoriuscita dalle grondaie completamente intasate da foglie e aghi di pino per mancata manutenzione, ha impregnato il muro della cucina allagandola e facendo saltare la luce che non è stato più possibile riattivare. A seguito di quanto sopra il gestore della struttura ci ha fornito un alloggio alternativo di ottima qualità in altra località ,ma non rispondente alle caratteristiche da me acquistate, mancava infatti di un bagno. Capisco perfettamente che data la situazione generalizzata di allagamenti non potevano fare di meglio. Resta comunque il fatto del forte disagio provocato da quanto esposto, tenuto anche conto che siamo persone di oltre settanta anni, ritengo che sia stata un'esperienza negativa. Sinceramente mi aspetterei dalla organizzazione Booking un minimo risarcimento. in fede Roberto Tomesani

Very nice place; room for improvement for service and staff

− The operator managing the rental of the property was not helpful at all. We received the information that the sheets rental should be paid extra only 2 days before departure (by that time we were already travelling), saying in the message that we should have asked for the rental at least one week in advance. They did not give us any information on how to get to the house, as with the coordinates that they give you Google maps leads you on a parallel road, from which you cannot reach it. There is not even a sign indicating Casa Nocella. After a storm there was no hot water, and after the plumber came he was not able to repair it and we had to shower cold. When we asked if there were cooking basics available at the house (oil, salt etc.), they said no, everything gets thrown away, so we bought them, and then found out that it was not true, everything was available there, even soap for the washing machine. There were probably bugs in the beds as we woke up full of bites. Other than the above, the location is amazing, in the middle of the forest, surrounded by nature, and the house is quite spacious, overall a good experience.
