− I stayed for 5 nights with the intention of extending my stay to a total of 3 weeks if the experience was positive. Unfortunately, my experience during those first 5 nights did not give me the confidence to continue. The biggest issue was the repeated lack of electricity, power tokens running out twice in a span of 5 night and being kept in the dark,intentionally. On two out of the five nights, I was informed that there was a blackout affecting the property's power line and that power would be restored "in a few minutes." However, these delays often stretched into hours, while the rest of the houses appeared to have electricity available. This made the experience frustrating and inconvenient. The Wi-Fi was another disappointment. Although Wi-Fi was advertised as available, and password given, it did not work at any point during my stay, even on the property TV,making it effectively unusable. There were also concerns regarding communication and housekeeping standards. The host mentioned on several occasions that the bedding would be changed and said she would come by to do so, but this never happened despite being mentioned over three consecutive days. While I did not specifically request a change of bedding, I believe hosts should maintain and follow through on the standards they advertise and promise to guests. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I decided not to extend my stay beyond the initial booking.
