This was excellent value for money and the whole cottage was done put stylishly and in keeping with the age and location.

− What not to like? The kitchen area was well kitted out and since we self catered for a whole week it was delightful to be able to cook and eat as if I was in my own home. Honestly this place is great!

We have just returned from a 11 night stay at the cottage. The location was right in the Titchfield village down a lane by the Church. It was very easy to walk to the various pubs and restaurants on offer. Our favorite was the Titchfield Mill for Sunday dinner. The bed was very comfortable, and the television had Netflix which made hubby very happy! We had an issue with the shower temperature (very hot), I contacted the property manager and he came around the same day to sort it out for us. Josh also went out and brought us more washing and dishwasher capsules plus a tea towel.

− I didn't think the cottage was prepared very well for our stay. There were no dishwashing tablets, tea bags, washing capsules, tea towels or anything provided. As we had an issue with the shower not mixing correctly, the property manager rectified these things for us. There was a small rubbish bin in the house, and a huge rubbish bag had been crammed into it. It just seemed like a lack of care when getting the property ready. The cooking pots and frypans all had to be put through the dishwasher before I could use them, as they had a horrible smell. As there were no tea towels, it appeared the dishes had been put away wet. The cottage is located down a no exit road to the Church. There is no allocated parking for this property, so we managed to negotiate with the neighbor to park in front of their property. Be aware that as the street parking in the village is restricted to 30 minutes, so people do come down and park in front of the property and our car was blocked in once.

Haven Cottage felt like home from the moment we stepped through the door. It was perfectly located for visiting friends and family in the area. We really enjoyed the village centre and the off road walk to Meon beach. The cottage was very clean, had super comfy beds and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely without question stay again. Many thanks.
