Completely misleading, poorly maintained, and not worth the money—I would never recommend this homestay to anyone

− One of the worst homestay experiences I’ve ever had. The photos shown online were completely misleading and did not match the actual property. The room was poorly maintained, unclean, and felt nothing like what was advertised. The mattress was old and damaged, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom was unhygienic, with insects inside, and the water facilities were poorly managed. There was no proper arrangement for using normal and hot water, which made the stay even more inconvenient. Overall, the place felt neglected and far below basic hospitality standards. I was extremely disappointed and felt that the listing did not honestly represent the accommodation. I would not recommend this homestay to anyone. There are much better places to stay in Shillong that provide cleaner rooms, better facilities, and a more honest experience.
